Background

Peter Kohn, the principal owner of Birch Hill Marketing, is a graduate of Babson College School of Management in Wellesley Massachusetts and has more than 35 years of experience in the field of marketing and management. He has worked in his family’s industrial manufacturing business in Connecticut which was acquired by Emerson Electric Company where Peter held product management, strategic planning and international business development positions. He went on to AMF with responsibility for the Bowling Consumer Products business and later as Director of Marketing for its Ben Hogan Golf Company. Peter helped AMF establish a formal licensing business by extending its trademark into billiards, gymnastics and golf equipment.

Since starting Birch Hill Marketing in 1996, Peter has helped launch brand licensing programs for Eskimo Pie Corporation, The Delicious Frookie Company, Frankford Candy & Chocolate Company and Brunswick Corporation's Bowling, Billiards and Life Fitness business units specializing in food, entertainment and sporting goods. He also has extensive strategic alliance and business development expertise establishing programs for Strike Ten Entertainment, AMF Bowling Centers and the UCI World Road Cycling Championships. Additionally, Peter consults with intellectual property stakeholders licensing their patented technology.

Peter's wife Jeryl owns a dental practice in Richmond, VA. They have 2 children and 2 grandchildren who live in VA. Beach. Peter enjoys tennis, skiing, cycling, gourmet cooking, travel, theatre, playing the drums and helping others in the community through programs including Big Brother, FeedMore and Hospice Volunteers among others.
